Free Clipart – Vintage Decorative Frame Borders & Feather Quill Pen

This post is a tribute to some beautiful ladies I’ve had the pleasure to work with over the past few days. Below you’ll find some free vintage graphics that are in PNG format and you can download right from this post. They are commercial use with the exception of making brushes and custom shapes with them. You can make digital scrapbooking resources for sale or use them in a photography backgrounds project. Just *do* something with them like add a background or whatever.

My favorite item is the feather feather quill pen! I’ve always had an affinity for calligraphy and would some day love to  have various forms of quills to write with. I used to use Sakura Micro Pens years ago when I worked at Blick Art Supply, but have never had a proper calligraphy set. One of these days I’m going to get one, lol!
Lovely Ladies

Abby has gorgeous free vintage images and a weekly Thursday  link party featuring design projects related to Bible scriptures. Here’s one of her recent vintage images. Grab it on her blog to get the full size. It’s so beautiful and sweet!!!

Abby is such a beautiful soul! She was recently featured on 2911 Jeremiah Avenue as “A Woman of Hope“. Before I even read this post I felt this emanating from her, it’s really amazing.
I have a creative side that comes out when I play with paper, fabric, or digital images on the computer.  I also feel I have the gift of encouragement…not something that came easily but through lots of heartache, trials, and pain.  I have empathy towards others who are hurting.  My blog is one of the outlets I use to encourage others.  I try to make it a happy place to be with vintage images from my collection and scripture.
Little Birdie Blessings

Marcia is sending a package containing the “Thinking of You in Prayer” set to my mom. I’m super excited about this as my mom will be getting a surprise gift! My mom keeps a prayer list and is very active with prayer groups, so she’s going to be delighted when she gets her package! It’s the sweetest gift to give to someone add a little reminder that they are being prayed for, and that God is always with them.

A Little Shop Around The Corner
Next is Kolleen’s Kreations. Kolleen makes gorgeous altered art cards. (I think that’s what you call it. I’m so in the digital world I have not yet learned the names for physical design projects). Here’s one of my favorites in hers shop:

I’ve had more than one person ask me if I had a donation button on my blog this week. I tried to find my graphic but put a default paypal button on the sidebar under the Etsy widget for now. Thanks oodles for asking!

Now for the freebies!
These are likely too large to use for blog design. The patterns get sort of lost unless one is viewing the image in large scale. I posted some closeup pics so you can see the design pattern. Click on the download button to see the full view. I hope you like them! You can download them all in one zip here.

Sü, I am so honored by this pleasant surprise. I received an email from a "Little Birdie" letting me know that we were featured in your sweet post. 🙂 I am so blessed to have met you and what a privilege to be able to include you among the many hearts the Lord typically likes to tap me on the shoulder as I go about my day, reminding me to encourage and pray for. You are a blessing to me.
      Much love!
(Took, me a couple of tries to find the code for ü, but you are very worth it.)

Su I know you asked if you could list me on your blog but I had no idea you were going to do like a blog feature. I am stunned and honored and a bit flattered. I just can't thank you enough. My finding you was such an asset to me. Thank you more than I can say. Blessings to you.
