Much of the work I’ve been doing lately has been behind the scenes subcontract work for other developers, so I had to share these two projects just for fun!
I recently did a blog makeover for Keren over at Free Pretty Things for You! Keren wanted to widen out the site and add some widget areas in her footer. I got a chance to play around with some brand new beautiful web fonts, which was super fun!
I think that just about everyone in the blogoshpere has heard of Free Pretty things For You, but if you have not yet visited Keren’s site it is a must see! She has great vintage graphics freebies and lots of other fun DIY crafty delights.

Brooke has been working on a new website launch and was looking for some design help. She had a mockup/wireframe available to draw from, but wanted to incorporate feminine elements into the design.
To make a long story short: A domain, a wire-frame mockup, 2 blogger blog exports and 12 hours later, viola!, months of planning and designing coded up into an actual wordpress theme! This was all on a tight deadline and started last night. A newspaper article will be published on the 7th and she’s hosting an event today with one thousand ladies in attendance. That’s where the {{exhale}} comes from! Brooke’s new blog is called “The Sacred Sink“. She’s quite an amazing woman. Please do stop by and say hello.
The Sacred Sink is about savoring solitary time with the Savior amid the suds and crumbs. As St. Paul reminds the Ephesians: “With all prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the Spirit.”
The mission of this website stems from the belief that holiness is homemade. For centuries, the home was the earliest gathering place for Christians to celebrate faith, feasts and family. Although the pace, size, and structure of home life may vary today, it’s just as important to spend time with God in holy moments, by sanctifying our days through prayer.
http://thesacredsink.com/the-missionI must admit that I was praying the entire time I was working on this project. Finished, just in time! It’s been such a great pleasure to work with these wonderful Christian women. They emanate a true love and kindness for all people.Back to your regularly scheduled Program:
I would like to have this weeks posts out ASAP, but I may take a little breather. We shall see how the rest of my weekend flows. I do have a freebie decorative frame border in progress for Abby’s Scripture Thursday Link Party, so stay tuned!
