Free Borders & Designer Resources

I’ve been playing around with making vector brushes. They are way harder than photoshop brushes! This set includes the whole shebang, even for inkscape. You get: free vectors, illustrator brushes, inkscape brushes, photoshop/gimp brushes, custom shapes and PNG. There’s also small text file with instructions for illustrator and inkscape.

At some point I’m going to post a full tutorial on using vector brushes in inkscape. It’s pretty intuitive with illustrator but took me a little while to figure it out. I was excited to figure it out though!!

Also don’t forget to grab  our gorgeous set of apothecary label borders inspired by some of the vintage images at The Graphics Fairy.

These look really interesting and fun, Su! And especially thank you for including the png images for those of us without Illustrator. I appreciate the chance to make my own brushes.

These look gorgeous and I will definitely read your text file for inkscape users and I'd love to hear more about using brushes in inkscape! Your upcoming labels sound amazing!

Illustrator is my next conquest! I use it a little now, mainly to extract out parts of busy .EPS or .AI images! Vectors are so much more 'resolute' than pixels!

      Thank you, ma'm!

It requires quite a bit of patience sometimes, but definitely is rewarding in the end!
