I don’t know about you, but I keep the same desktop background for quite a long time. I’ve have been using this one on my linux desktop for, oh – I’d say about 3 years now, lol! For some reason I always fall back to it. I think I got it at gnome-look.org. Last night while browsing Wikimedia Commons, I stumbled upon some wonderful images that can be used for desktop wallpaper. Yes, I finally switched my background, hooray!

Here’s the one I chose:

It would be fun to add some inspirational words or quotes to these, but I must say they do look great without any modifications.

I love those Indian pigments, though, each one is good.

      Hi Su,

Oooh, Thanks for these, yeah, know what you mean about the wallpapers, I don't change mine either. Yey! love the sunflowers, this will be mine for now I think. I also spent hours last night trawling Wikimedia Commons. I just get lost in there sometimes. Thankyou for sharing the images. Hugs

Great images, Su. Stopping by to say hello and let you know I put a little something in the mail for you yesterday.
Also have a question on some blog design updates I've been considering. I'll be in touch via email.
Hope you have a lovely weekend.
      Much love.

Thank you for your wonderful images. I found you through Free Pretty Things. I don't usually change my wallpaper, I have a wooded scene with a stream and cascade and I love it, but the lavender flowers are gorgeous and so are some of the others you have here.
